The Skill workspace for 73 agents

One deck of Skills,
dealt to every agent.

Install a Skill once, from any source. Switch it on for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and 70 more — globally or per project — and keep every copy in step with upstream.

Once it’s installed, your agent can drive it too:

Before and after

From scattered copies
to one deck.

Old way

A copy in every agent folder, none of them sure

Each agent reads its own directory, each project carries its own copy. Upstream ships a fix and you redo every one by hand — or forget one.

New way

One library, switched on where you need it

Every Skill lives once in the Workspace with its source on record. SkillDeck links it into each agent’s folder and tells you when upstream has moved.

How it works

Add it, switch it on, keep it current.

Why SkillDeck

Every agent you use.
One place to run their Skills.

Bring any agent

73 agents ship with their folder conventions built in. Add your own with a path.

Global or just this project

Switch a Skill on for one agent and off for another. Global Skills are symlinked, so nothing is duplicated.

Adopt what you already have

On first launch SkillDeck finds the Skills already in your agent folders. Where copies disagree, you pick the one to keep.

Read Skills in your language

Translate a SKILL.md and read it side by side. Translations are cached apart, so agents always read the original.

SkillDeck CLI

Your agent asks.
You approve.

SkillDeck ships a CLI your coding agent knows how to use. It drives the running app and returns JSON — and anything destructive waits for your click in the app. No flag an agent can pass will skip it.

The command line wants to delete 2 Skills

Requested from the skilldeck command line. Nothing runs until you approve.

  • old-jestNot active in any Agent

This can’t be undone: files, version history, Drafts, notes, and tag assignments are deleted together.

  • DetectEdits made outside the app are caught. Keep them, restore, or export.
  • OriginalTranslations never touch SKILL.md. Agents read what the author wrote.

FAQ

Good to know

What is an Agent Skill?

An Agent Skill is a folder containing a SKILL.md file: Markdown instructions for a specific kind of task, with frontmatter that declares its name and purpose, plus optional scripts and reference files. AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex discover Skills and load them when a task calls for one.

Does SkillDeck modify my Skill files?

No. Installing and enabling only move files around, and translations live in a separate cache. Agents always read the original SKILL.md.

Can one Skill serve several agents?

Yes. Install a Skill once, then enable or disable it per agent. The list shows how many agents currently have it.

Which agents does SkillDeck support?

SkillDeck ships with the folder conventions of more than 70 agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline, OpenCode and Trae. When you enable a Skill, it lands where each agent expects it, globally or for a single project.

Does it need the internet? Where is my data?

Only when adding a remote source or checking for updates. Skills stay on your own machine — no account, no sign-in.

Is SkillDeck free?

Yes, SkillDeck is currently free to download and use, with no account required. If paid features are ever introduced, pricing and terms will be announced before anything is charged.

Is there a Windows version?

Yes. The Windows x64 beta is available to download, but is not yet Windows code-signed.
